Elizabeth Rickards MA St Andrews PGCE - Consults in all areas except Strategic Management / Marketing.

Read History and French at St Andrews University and then did a post graduate teaching qualification in Edinburgh. After several years teaching English in London and France, Elizabeth was appointed Vice Principal at Duff Miller in 1986. From 1996 to 2007 Elizabeth was Principal of Davies Laing and Dick (DLD) in London.

Patricia Lotery has over 25 years' experience working in the UK's top public relations agencies. She has specialised in Education PR for many years. Clients have included: + the list . After a comprehensive briefing, Patricia Lotery will recommend a programme of activities to meet the client's objectives. This will include news releases, case studies, arranging face to face interviews and feature articles and a continuous press information service – both pro active and reactive.

James Wardrobe MA Oxford - Oxbridge Entrance, Inspections.

Has a M.A. in Classics from Oxford University and has spent the last thirty years in senior educational management. He has been Deputy Head of a prep school, Principal of an independent sixth form college and most recently Headmaster of the Hellenic College of London for fourteen years. He is currently a Director of two schools, an Honorary Life Member of the Conference for Independent Further Education and of the Round Square Association of International Schools. He is a Life Associate Member of the Independent Schools Association and has been a Schools Inspector for the Independent Schools Inspectorate.

Tom Armstrong BA, Ph D York - Applications to Music College

Tom Armstrong read Music at the University of York, staying on to study for a D Phil in Composition which he was awarded in 1994. Since moving to London in 1993 he has taught widely in the tertiary, continuing and higher education sectors as well as pursuing a successful career as a composer. Tom currently teaches at the University of Surrey and the internationally renowned Yehudi Menuhin School. He has also taught at Thames Valley, Oxford Brookes and Brunel Universities and has a wealth of knowledge of the higher education sector for music in the UK. Tom taught music at Davies Laing and Dick College for some ten years, becoming Head of Department and overseeing the creation of a dynamic performing culture there. He has much experience of teaching students of all abilities from beginners to those at elite level. Tom’s music has been performed all over the UK and in Europe; recent highlights include the London premiere of To the Measures Fall at the Wigmore Hall and the first production of his multimedia ballet Black Maria at Sadlers Wells.
Hannah Rickards BA Central St Martin's - Art School Applications.

Hannah Rickards is the current recipient of the Max Mara Art Prize for Women in conjunction with the Whitechapel. Since graduating from the BA(Hons) Fine Art course at Central Saint Martins College of Art and Design in 2002 she has exhibited widely in the UK, Europe and the USA. In 2007 she became an Associate Lecturer on the 4D Pathway of the BA(Hons) Fine Art course at Central Saint Martins.

Christopher Chong M.A. M.Phil. (Cantab) - Art School Applications.

Christopher grew up in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. He was a British Chevening Scholar in Economics at Jesus College, Cambridge. After his undergraduate studies, he continued his studies at Jesus College, submitting his M.Phil. dissertation on Middle Eastern Economic History. In 2000 he joined a leading London Sixth Form College as a tutor in Economics and Mathematics. His flair as an educationalist was very quickly recognised by both his colleagues and his students. In addition to inspiring students in the classroom, he was involved in their pastoral care as Sixth Form Year Head. He oversaw the welfare of international students and advised those applying to British universities. He has recently taken up a post teaching Economics and Mathematics in a leading UK independent school, where he continues to play a valued role as a UCAS advisor and personal tutor.

Alla Gostick Ph D St Petersburg - Russian Students

Alla Gostick graduated from Russian A.I.Gertsen State University of Education (St. Petersburg) with first class honours degree in Education & Speech Therapy and then completed a three year Research Fellowship and her PhD in Education, specialising in Speech Therapy and Teaching methods. She has extensive experience in teaching Business Russian in England as well as eight years teaching Speech Therapy and Russian at St Petersburg University of Education, followed by thirteen years in the UK. Alla is an Examiner for London Examination Board (Edexcel) and has six publications so far in the field of learning difficulties and communication. At present she works for Davies, Laing and Dick & Collingham sixth form colleges and Portland-Place school where she teaches GCSE and A Level Russian.

Susie Henry - Advertising and Marketing Consultant

Susie Henry was the first woman Creative Director with her name on the door of a London advertising agency. Her track record includes an award-winning run at DDB and board appointments at KHBB and more recently, Saatchi and Saatchi, where she continued as a Creative Consultant until 2005. Best known for the government’s anti drink/drive campaign and her 20 year tenure of Commercial Union, for whom she coined the line, ‘We won’t make a drama out of a crisis’. Her work has won numerous creative awards including Silver Lions at Cannes, Gold and Silver Campaign Press Awards, Gold and Silver British TV Awards, Clios in the US and five Silver D&AD pencils. Honoured at The Guildhall London at an awards ceremony sponsored by The Guardian in recognition of her ‘outstanding achievement in the communications industry’.
Currently working direct to clients and agencies as a Creative Consultant in Edinburgh and London. She is also a lecturer in Creative Advertising at Napier University. Susie is married with three children and lives in Edinburgh.
